This page is a translation of the Greek original. If the two versions differ, the Greek version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device, to remember information from one visit to the next or from page to page. We treat similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, in the same way.
Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by third parties, such as Google, when their services load on the website.
2. How we ask for your consent
The first time you visit the website, a window appears where you can accept or reject cookies with one click, or choose by category. The accept and reject buttons are given equal prominence.
Until you answer, and if you reject, the website loads only the strictly necessary cookies. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and YouTube do not load at all. Rejecting does not stop you from seeing any content: you can play each video individually.
Greek law (Article 4(5) of Law 3471/2006) allows, without consent, only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work or for something you have asked for. For all others, we need your consent.
3. Which cookies we use
Strictly necessary
They are needed for the website to work and to remember your choices. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off in the settings window.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |

Statistics
They show us how many people visit the website, which pages are read and where visitors come from, so that we can improve it. They load only with your consent, through Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart using a random identifier. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> |
Google Analytics | Records the current visit (session). | 2 years |
Functionality: YouTube videos
The videos on our project pages are hosted on YouTube. If you allow these cookies, the videos load automatically. Otherwise, only the video you choose to play is loaded.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
YouTube cookies and local storage |
Google (YouTube) | Playing the video, player settings and Google’s viewing statistics. | Set by Google |
Browsers may delete cookies sooner than the duration given here.
4. How to change your settings
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, using the button below or the round cookie button at the bottom left of every page.
When you withdraw consent, we stop loading the related tools. Cookies already stored can be deleted in your browser settings, usually under “Privacy”. There you can also block cookies altogether, but some websites may then not work properly.
5. More information
For how we use your personal data and what your rights are, see the Privacy policy. For Google’s cookies: how Google uses cookies.
